Pumpkin Protein Cream Cheese Frosting
Man oh man! Am I the only one who feels like this year has just flown by?? It was just June and now it’s already almost November. What. The Heck?
Phil and I are planning on heading up to the Dells for our anniversary weekend in November, so I’m trying to loose a few pounds before then. So far I’ve lose three pounds - which I’m not complaining about, I just wish I could use a few more. I really need to clean up my eating.
I’m focusing on getting enough protein into my diet, so a few weeks ago I made the protein pumpkin muffins from Eat the Gains. The muffins are very delicious and I highly recommend them, but then I had a thought: could I make a cream cheese frosting with added protein for a healthy, cupcake breakfast?
So I set off to make a healthier alternative for cream cheese frosting, and I have to say it was a success!
